Fiberglass Facts
In late 1953, Doc Boyce-Smith and Hugh Jorgensen changed the wheelbase of the Victress S1 from 102 inches to 99 inches to fit the new Kurtis 500 KK chassis. This new version was called the S1A, and at least one Victress S1A used a Kurtis KK Chassis. This Kurtis Victress S1A was last seen in Oregon in the late 1950s.
