Fiberglass Facts
Les Dawes debuted his LaDawri Coachcraft Sportscar, the Cavalier, at the 1956 Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, Canada. This was the same car that he and his family took to Los Angeles when in early 1957, they moved to California. In 1957 the name of the car was changed to Conquest, and in July of the same year it appeared on the cover of Road and Track.
