The Maverick Sportster appeared in the 1955 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance – Entered by Mrs Sterling Gladwin. This makes it perhaps the first American Fiberglass Sports Car that attended a world class Concours dElegance outside of the Corvette.

Taking credit for the photos I took of this car out in Junction, Texas. About 4 years later I saw the car at the New Braunfels, TX swap meet in primer on a trailer with the same owner. It did not sell at the swap and I presume it still resides in the city of Junction.
